One vote in Seattle, part 3.

Candidate #13: Tylor Grow. Republican party
Overall impression: No experience, education, or community service. Honestly, I’m confused after reading his statement because “the public option”, and building housing for the homeless are classical political left viewpoints. Then he says “As a gay person of Mexican descent, I know what it’s like to be discriminated against. I want to help everyone in Washington State no matter: race, gender, sexual orientation, income, and/or ability.” Did he mean to say his party preference is Democrat? I didn’t think it was possible to be Gay and republican, let alone Latinx.
Oh wait, there is this in his statement also: “Over the past 35 years, Washington State has had an elected Democrat as Governor. With decades of empty promises and slow progress, look where it has led us to. As the next Governor of Washington State, I, Tylor Grow, will eliminate the partisan gridlock that keeps our beautiful state from reaching its true potential by streamlining the way Washington State handles tax revenue.” You can’t change taxes in our state without 2/3rds approval thanks to long time Republican Tim Eyman, so this isn’t easy to do for anyone elected.
