One vote in Seattle, part 3.

Candidate #10: Don L Rivers. Democratic Party.
Overall impression: An excellent profile. Educated, with 40 years of community activism, and political experience as an advisor to elected officials. Experience in many political areas, so it shows he can bring people together. Sadly, The only black man running for Governor in the sea of white men. My gut feeling is that he will be elected to office in the state sometime soon.
Things that stand out: I have no complaints, and his statement speaks for itself, building apon the things I noticed, along with showing leadership and compassion for all Washingtonians. I think he could make it to the General Election, though he will have a tough fight against the Incumbent Jay Inslee. Either would be great governors to have. It’s profiles like this that give me hope for America, give me confidence that my vote matters.
